Nearby districts such as Kargicak and Mahmutlar cost less than central Alanya, while runs towards Side or Antalya cost more. If you are staying in Alanya, Mahmutlar, Kargicak, Konakli or Avsallar, Gazipasa is clearly the better choice: 40 km instead of 125 km, which is roughly an hour and a half of your holiday back. For Side, Belek or Kemer, Antalya Airport remains the closer option.
Gazipasa is a small airport and the number of cars waiting outside is limited. On evening arrivals and outside the summer season you may find none at all. That is why booking ahead matters considerably more here than it does at Antalya.
